User research
This research stems from three places secondary research, primary research and interviews.
Some of the main issues people have with traveling abroad is finding a safe and secure place to exchange money. Banking institutions are great places to exchange, however in other countries locations can be limited. Figuring out exchange rates, paying fees and having a secure way to check account balances and transfer money are top of mind for the user.

User flow
This is the simplest users flow to get the desired result

Wireframes
My goal was to create a simple but aesthetic design. The paper wireframes allowed me to visualize different user flows and through some iteration I was able to come up with layouts that incorporated less on each screen providing a cleaner experience to the user

Low-fidelity Prototype
This lofi Prototype takes you through the basic aspects of how users will navigate the app.

Usability study: Findings
During my research I found that the user flow for the app could be improved. Many users were slow to complete tasks and even were directed to pages that were not within that flow
Round 1 findings
1
Confirmation at checkout is needed
2
A canceling option is needed
3
Users want a simpler flow from pages

Takeaways
Peer quote: “I like the way the app was structured most things were easy to find and the design and colors go well together.”
What I learned
I learned so much throughout this project that it’s hard to put everything into a few sentences.
I learned a new application/ program, I learned how to conduct user research, and how to use that information to better my app. But more importantly I learned what it takes to create a working application.
